Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted again regarding the protests against the planned tourist project in Zvërnec, responding to criticism raised by opponents of the investment.
Through a post on social media, the head of government has brought as an example a tourist resort in Qatar, developed by the same investors who are also involved in the Zvërnec project. Rama has defended the investing company and has ironized the voices that, according to him, are trying to hinder the development of the project.
In his reaction, the prime minister described opponents of the investment as "fools", arguing that their claims are baseless and that they cannot stop the country's tourism development.
"This island is in Qatar and is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the Middle East, managed by the prestigious Anantara brand.

The two Alkhayatt brothers, precisely the co-owners of the Powerholding conglomerate, the buyers of private land and the co-investors of the Zvërnec project!
Now who would have thought that a company like Power Holding would come to Albania to ruin its reputation with the nonsense that is being said about the project, we have nothing to do with it. But the stupidity that has left this country behind the world for 100 years will not be able to hold European and Tourist Albania hostage.
"Power International Holding is a Qatari conglomerate with more than 400 companies, organized in six main sectors of the economy, with a portfolio estimated at approximately 40 billion dollars. It has more than 65,000 employees and operates in 25 countries around the world ," Rama wrote in reaction.
We recall that today is the 7th day of the protest, which has gone beyond the Zvërnec issue, focusing on the scandals of the Rama government, issues such as health, education, immigration, the politicized administration, etc.
