The next plenary session in the Parliament has begun, where opposition MPs have chosen to convey their messages through banners.
Right at the beginning of the session, as the Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, presented the agenda, opposition MPs unfurled several banners with the inscriptions: "CNN these people are no fake news!", "Oh my god, when will you resign?" and "The enemy of Albania is Edi Rama."
This action comes at a time when citizen protests have been ongoing for 11 days, demanding the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government.
The protesters have directed criticism at the entire old political class, articulating the symbolic protest call: "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison."
