Received mandate as MP, Kuko informs Rama about leaving the Government

Romina Kuko has resigned from the post of Deputy Minister of Interior, after receiving the mandate of MP in the Korça District on May 11, where she was running under the Socialist Party banner.

Kuko has sent a request to Prime Minister Edi Rama, while also informing Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi about his resignation from the position of Deputy Minister of Interior.

With Kuko's resignation from the executive branch, she paves the way for her to take up a mandate as an MP in the new Parliament, which is expected to be constituted in September.

In the Korça Region, the Socialists took 6 out of 10 mandates.
