Prime Minister Edi Rama, during a press conference with his Danish counterpart, was asked about the May 11 elections.
One of the international media journalists told Prime Minister Edi Rama that the EU, in relation to Albania, has spoken of "uneven play" in the elections.
But, Rama said that the lines were detached from a long passage, where overall the electoral process in Albania is spoken of positively. Rama said that the electoral process in Albania was 100 percent the will of the Albanian people.
"I have to say that what you quoted are a few sentences of a much longer statement, where you practically welcomed the Albanian elections. The report referred to the criticisms of the previous report, which needs to be reviewed, and I wanted to say that the Albanian elections are an expression of the will of the Albanian people 100 percent."
"The criticisms need to be improved, there is no discussion. Our electoral process is not like in Denmark, but it is in accordance with OSCE-ODIHR standards," Rama said.
