
The Central Election Commission has made a preliminary assessment of the data transmitted by operators to the CEC, for voting inside and outside the country.
According to the CEC, 1,462,138 Albanians voted within the country out of 3,467,962, which is the total number of voters on the list.
From this domestic vote, the CEC ascertains that 1,406,514 votes were valid, while 55,514 were invalid.
Also, within the country, 12 unnumbered ballot boxes were declared irregular by the CEAZ.
Meanwhile, regarding voting from the diaspora, it is reported that 194,889 voted, based on envelopes carried by the postal service.
Of the envelopes received from Albanians around the world, the count so far has resulted in 1,532 invalid votes.
"Preliminary data transmitted by operators to the CEC information system, for voting within the country:
3,467,962 – Total number of voters on the list;
1,462,138 – Number of voters in polling stations counted;
1,406,514 – Valid votes;
55,514 – Invalid votes;
Note: 12 ballot boxes were declared irregular by the CEAZs (uncounted).

245,953 – Total number of voters approved by the CEC
194,889 – Total number of postal service envelopes
147,024 – Total number of envelopes counted
145,316 – Valid votes
1532 – Invalid votes
Note: The data on the count, valid and invalid votes do not include envelopes received by the CEC from the state of Greece. Votes from Greece will be evaluated according to the decision of the State Election Commissioner dated May 16, 2025," the CEC announcement states.
