The Albanian Parliament will hold its next plenary session today, during which MPs are expected to review a series of draft laws, draft resolutions and annual reports of constitutional institutions and those of the justice system.
The session will open with the approval of the minutes of the meeting of July 16, 2026 and the relevant announcements. Afterwards, the Report of the National Council for European Integration for 2025 will be presented to the deputies.
The agenda also includes the review of the draft law "On European Cooperative Societies (ECS)".
A significant part of the session will be devoted to the discussion and adoption of draft resolutions for the assessment of the activities of the main independent and justice institutions during 2025. Among the institutions for which draft resolutions will be reviewed are:
Ombudsman;
High Judicial Council (HJC);
High Prosecutorial Council (HPC);
High State Audit Office (HSA);
General Prosecutor's Office;
Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK);
High Inspector of Justice (ILD).
Meanwhile, a civic protest has been announced outside the Parliament premises. The organizers of the resistance have called for a rally in front of the Parliament, at the same time as the plenary session.
The organizers have called on citizens to participate, emphasizing that the protest aims to convey their message to MPs and continue the civic resistance that has been taking place for seven weeks in Tirana, as an expression of dissatisfaction with the institutions and functioning of Parliament.

7. Draft resolution “On the evaluation of the activity of the High Prosecutorial Council for the year 2025”
8. Draft resolution "On the evaluation of the activity of the Supreme State Audit Office for the year 2025".
9. Draft resolution "On the evaluation of the activity of the General Prosecutor's Office for the year 2025".
10. Draft resolution “On the evaluation of the activity of the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime for the year 2025”
11. Draft resolution "On the evaluation of the activity of the High Inspector of Justice for the year 2025".
12. Discussions on matters outside the agenda.
