The Assembly approves resolutions for 10 institutions, who voted against and who abstained for two draft laws

After a plenary session that lasted about five hours, the Socialist Party was the only one to approve the agenda in the Assembly, after deputies from the Democratic Party and the Freedom Party boycotted the proceedings.

A series of draft laws were approved by majority vote, mainly related to the agricultural sector, as well as the draft law for the development of the Agricultural Census, which will begin in October.

The Assembly also approved draft resolutions for the evaluation of the activities of 10 institutions, including the Central Election Commission, the Bank of Albania, the Institute of Higher Education and Research, the Financial Supervisory Authority, INSTAT, AKEP, RTSH, AMA, the Energy Regulatory Authority and the Water Regulatory Authority.

During the vote, a different stance was also recorded by Socialist MP Erion Braçe, who, as he had warned during the session, voted against the draft law "On the Protection of Agricultural Land", together with MP Erald Kapri.

Brace also abstained from voting on the amendments to the law "On the Book in the Republic of Albania".

-Draft law "On the ratification of the loan agreement between the Republic of Albania and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, for the Albanian railways - rehabilitation of the Tirana-Durres railway and construction of the railway connection with the Tirana International Airport: expansion of the project" - 78 votes in favor, 0 abstentions, 0 against

-Draft law "On the ratification of the Convention on the Bureau of the European Civil Aviation Conference, done at Bern, on 30 August 2025" - 78 votes in favor, 0 abstentions, 0 against

- Draft law "On some additions and amendments to law no. 9616, dated 27.9.2006, "On the book in the Republic of Albania", as amended" - 78 votes in favor, 1 abstention (Erion Braçe), 2 against (Erald Kapri and Redi Muçi)
