The leader of the Democratic Party accused Edi Rama of not reacting to Serbian Minister Snezhana Paunovic's statement on ethnic cleansing in Kosovo and repeated the request to declare her "non grata".
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, accused the Albanian government of not taking any position on the statements of Serbian Minister Snezhana Paunovic about ethnic cleansing in Kosovo. During a statement to the media, Berisha said that the Serbian minister expressed the position of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, whom he described as Edi Rama's "master".
Berisha also reiterated the Democratic Party's position that Albania should declare Snezhana Paunovic "non grata", just as Kosovo has done.
"He expressed the opinion of Rama's boss, Aleksandar Vučić. Keeping a monster like her in the cabinet who expresses regret that the ethnic cleansing in Kosovo was not completed means having that mentality yourself. Secondly, I condemn with the greatest force the shameful silence, of the Albanian government's vassal towards the statement of a Belgrade minister, while declaring citizens of Prizren non grata for participating in the protest, declaring MPs of North Macedonia, representatives of Albanians, non grata, in the most shameful, most self-deprecating act, does not dare to declare non grata and that foreign minister, a disgrace of all times, does not dare to say a word to the monster minister who demanded ethnic cleansing of all Albanians from Kosovo. This attitude proves the true face of the Tirana regime, a vassal regime towards Belgrade ," Berisha said.
