The Lushnja Police have finalized the operation codenamed "Again", solving two theft cases that occurred within two days and arresting the suspected perpetrator, Margiglen Gashi, 36 years old, resident of the village of Plug, previously convicted of the criminal offense of theft.
According to investigations, the 36-year-old is suspected of having committed two thefts on July 16 and 17, 2026 in the village of Plug.
The first case was recorded on July 16, when he allegedly stole two car batteries.
Meanwhile, in the early hours of the morning of July 17, Gashi is suspected of entering a bar in the same village, where he took a large amount of money and a laptop. After the theft, according to the Police, he set fire to the premises, causing extensive material damage.
The services of the Lushnja Police Commissariat, after investigative actions, made it possible to identify, capture and arrest the 36-year-old in flagrante delicto as part of the police operation "Again".
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier for further action.
