Another name that was mentioned during Dritan Goxhaj's interview on "Të Pashoj" was that of Elisa Spiropali. Considered by many protesters as one of the critical voices within the Socialist Party, Spiropali has expressed understanding for the protest in various ways, but without taking any concrete steps to break away from the majority.
Asked by journalist Edjona Dervishi about this stance, Dritan Goxhaj stated that such figures within the Socialist Party may have understood the need for change, but according to him they remain tied to internal political interests and struggles. Goxhaj added that if the political crisis deepens, there may be other socialist names who will distance themselves from Edi Rama.
Interview:
Edjona Dervishi: What about other socialist voices, such as Elisa Spiropali, who support you, but it's not like they have taken any concrete action to truly distance themselves from the Socialist Party.
Dritan Goxhaj: Yes, this is because Elisa Spiropali and many others probably saw that there was a need for a change.
And in this change, since Elisa Spiropali has clashed, has an internal clash with the leader of her party, perhaps she claims that tomorrow she will either take over a group of the party, or take over the party, or something else.
So he is in this war and normally cannot distance himself from the Socialist Party, because it also has its own political interests.
For this reason, others like Elisa Spiropali may emerge tomorrow. Because the moment they see that the boat is sinking, then all the others, the sailors of this boat, will each try to save themselves.
