The chairman of the Albania Becomes Party, Adriatik Lapaj, made strong accusations against the electoral system, describing it as a mechanism with "double standards".

Lapaj recalled that before the elections, his political entity had extended a hand of cooperation to many other forces, entering the process with open lists and also placing fictitious candidates, so that citizens had real choices. According to him, this strategy was supported by over 64 thousand voters, which made the movement one of the most significant anti-system forces in the country.

However, after the elections, according to Lapaj, the agreement made with the citizens was not respected.

"This is a system that doesn't let you compete. Even when you try to compete, means are used, even betrayal among allies, to undo the concept of competition," he told "A2 Cnn."

Lapaj emphasized that while the open list rule was implemented for the Social Democratic Party, this did not happen for his Movement, as one of the coalition members broke the agreement.

Referring to MP Ana Dajko, Lapaj stated that her presence in the Assembly will not be in the classic form of a MP involved in political debates, but as a legal representation of citizens.

"Ms. Dajko did not enter the race to be an MP. She is there so that the mandate is not lost and so that the votes of 80 thousand citizens are not left without representation. She will speak through legal acts and documents, by filing draft laws that address the problems of citizens," he said.

According to Lapaj, a team of lawyers engaged in this project will work to provide concrete legal solutions, while political clashes with Prime Minister Rama "are not a priority."
