Tributes are being held at the "Petro Marko" Theater in Vlora in honor of journalist Enrik Mehmeti, who tragically lost his life after an accident in the Zvërnec area.
Since 12:00, dozens of family members, relatives, friends, colleagues, representatives of institutions and citizens have arrived to pay their last respects to the 40-year-old. Among them was Prime Minister Edi Rama, who paid homage and expressed condolences to the family.
The untimely passing of Enrik Mehmeti has shocked family, friends and colleagues, while Vlora bids farewell today to a journalist who for years linked his life to reporting on the city's events and stories.
After the end of the tributes, Enrik Mehmeti's body will be taken to his final resting place, where he will rest amidst the pain of his family and all those who knew and appreciated him.
