The Albanian film "Luna Park", a drama directed by Florenc Papas, represents Albania in the 65th edition of the Regional Film Festival in Thessaloniki. The events of the film are set in the turbulent year 1997, a period filled with challenges and uncertainty.
The protagonist, Mira, a single mother played by Adriana Matoshi, tries to cope with economic difficulties and the influence of pyramid firms, while her son, Toni (played by Orion Jolldashi), is part of this difficult path. Mira forms a connection with the director of one of the pyramid firms, whose role is played by Nik Xhelilaj, while a playground becomes the symbol of the last hope in the midst of chaos.
The film is a collaboration between ON Film Production and other international producers such as Atalante Productions, Lupine Film, Studio Corcus and Buka Production. Participating in this prestigious festival, which is known for presenting the big names of world cinematography, is a great achievement for the film team.
