The vehicle of the murdered 23-year-old, Renis Dobra, who was found lifeless near Lake Shkopet, in the village of Madhesh, Mati, is being pulled out of the water.
The victim's car was removed from the wreckage by rescue workers this afternoon, while forensic experts also went to the scene. New details regarding the cause of the crime and the perpetrators of the serious incident are expected to emerge.
Renis Dobra was found dead near Lake Shkopet, with wounds on his body and a blackened throat. The 23-year-old is suspected of being kidnapped and then murdered. Preliminary examination has revealed that Renis Dobra died from strangulation with a rope.
The young man was thrown into the lake along with the "Benz" car, but while the car was falling, the body came out of the car a few meters without falling into the water.
The investigations are focused on several leads, such as conflicts that the young man may have had, both inside and outside Albania.
Security cameras along the road have captured a vehicle accompanying Reni Dobra's car, from the village of Zenisht to the town of Burrel. Meanwhile, from Burrel to the place where the victim's body was found, there are reportedly no security cameras.
The young man was reported missing by his father to the police after he never returned to his apartment. He went to the police at around 9:30 PM on Tuesday evening (July 8) and stated that he had not had any contact with his son for three hours. After hours of searching, the victim's body was found yesterday near Lake Shkopet.
