The Vlora Court has ordered the security measure of arrest in prison for the father of the 17-year-old who attempted suicide with a firearm 3 days ago in Vlora.
The father is accused of the criminal offenses of "Domestic Violence" and "Causing Suicide".
During the hearing, a lighter security measure was requested for the 43-year-old, but Judge Bevil Beqiraj accepted the Prosecution's request, determining the coercive measure of imprisonment.
The serious incident occurred just a few days ago in Vlora, as the 17-year-old shot herself in the head with a pistol in her grandfather's apartment.
The teenager is in serious condition at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.
The girl's grandfather is also under investigation for the incident, who is accused of illegal possession of a weapon, while the police continue their search to find the weapon. According to the blue uniforms, the weapon is suspected to have been hidden by the family members after the crime.
