Fation Bushgjokaj, one of the three brothers arrested for the murder of Renis Dobra in Mat, has given his testimony to investigators. He confessed that he knew the 23-year-old since the time they had collaborated in Germany for illegal activities related to drug trafficking.
However, he denies any involvement in Dobra's murder, claiming that, despite previous conflicts with the victim, he had no role in the incident. Meanwhile, Petrit Çakrri, another suspect, has admitted that he was in the area where the murder took place on the day of the crime, but insists that he did not know the victim and has no connection to the incident.
According to him, he only knew Kristi Bushgjokaj, who is still wanted by the police, and that their relationship had started in prison and continued after his release. Çakrri said that the Bushgjokaj brothers had told him that they would go to the area to search for a quantity of drugs in the villages.
According to his testimony, along the way they split into two cars, and their movements match the footage captured by security cameras.
However, he denies any involvement in the murder and says the Bushgjokaj brothers got into another car, which investigators suspect belonged to Dobra. Çakrri added that they told him to "get out now" and that he only learned about Dobra's murder from the media.
