Following media reports of illegal meetings in Drenova prison between convict Laert Haxhia and a model, an official response has come from defense attorney Detar Hysi, who strongly denies these allegations.
" As the legal defense attorney of the convicted Laert Haxhia, I want to clarify to the public that the news about meetings with unauthorized persons is false. This convicted person has not committed any such act ," says the official statement of lawyer Hysi, addressed to the media.
Lawyer Hysi asks the media to be careful in reporting and respecting the legal process, describing any further speculation as damaging to the investigative process.
