A total of 3,126 suspected Cannabis Sativa plants were destroyed in Shkodra.
According to the police, the checks were conducted in several of the administrative units of the district, including Shala, Pult, Shosh, Ana e Malit, Kastrat, Kelmend, Temal and Shllak.
After the discovery of narcotic plants, the Police have criminally prosecuted three people for abuse of office: 2 village heads and 1 environmental guard.

During the checks in the territory, 3126 suspected narcotic plants of Cannabis Sativa were found and destroyed. 2 village heads and 1 environmental guard are being prosecuted for abuse of office.
The services of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate and subordinate police stations continue to conduct intensive checks throughout the territory of the district, following the police operation codenamed "Coordinates", with the aim of cracking down on cases of cultivation of narcotic plants.
-In the territory of the administrative units of Shala, Pult, Shosh and Ana e Malit, the services of the Shkodra Police Commissariat found and destroyed 922 suspected narcotic plants Cannabis Sativa. Following the procedural actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where proceedings were initiated in the absence of the mayor of the village of Oblikë, citizen SP;
-In the territory of the administrative units of Kastrat and Kelmend, the services of the Malësi e Madhe Police Commissariat found and destroyed 1034 suspected narcotic plants Cannabis Sativa. Following the procedural actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where proceedings were initiated in the absence of the mayor of the village of Selcë, citizen AD, and the environmental guard, citizen PG;
In the territory of the administrative units of Temal and Shllak, the services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat found and destroyed 1,170 suspected narcotic Cannabis Sativa plants.
The work to identify, capture and hold accountable the perpetrators of the cultivation of narcotic plants continues. The anti-cannabis operation codenamed "Coordinates" continues throughout the territory of the Shkodra region, the police announced.
