Peers of Erion Boba, the 15-year-old killed a few days ago, gathered this Friday in the central square of the city of Durrës in a peaceful protest.

They demand justice for their friend and the maximum sentence for the perpetrator.

Erion's brother was also present at the protest, but he chose not to speak to the media.

The youth protest was an appeal to the justice system, which, according to them, must show transparency and determination in handling the case.

They expressed that they feel unsafe in their daily activities and demand greater commitment from law enforcement institutions in protecting minors and preventing violence.

"I don't trust that justice will properly resolve this matter. We feel unsafe in our lives because there are many young people carrying knives with them," said one of the victim's friends, calling for stronger measures to prevent teenagers from carrying knives.

Another participant stated that after the event, there was no organization by the school for a tribute or symbolic march, while the only intervention was the work of the institution's psychologist, who held meetings with the students.

The serious incident occurred on November 25, following a conflict between two groups, all minors, who initially argued over comments on Tik-Tok and then physically confronted each other.

During the fight, a 14-year-old stabbed Erion Boba in the heart. The minor died a few days later in intensive care.
