A 44-year-old Albanian man was executed in the state of Michigan in the US, while he was the manager of a bar-restaurant.
The victim was shot twice, while police arrested a person as the suspected perpetrator of the crime.
As public records show, the victim identified as Francesk Shkambi was a relative of Elvis Shkambi, the 30-year-old who killed judge Astrit Kalaja inside the courtroom in Tirana on October 6.
Francesk Shkambi was the person who opened a GoFundMe campaign a few weeks ago to raise funds to help Elvis and Gjon Shkambi, introducing himself as their family member. The campaign sought financial support for “professional and independent legal defense,” and managed to raise over $8,000.

The murder of Francesk Schambi
US media reported that the incident took place around 9:30 p.m. local time on Sunday on the veranda of the Prime 7 restaurant in Commerce Township, where Francesk Shkambi was the manager and co-owner. He was found seriously injured and, despite immediate medical intervention, later died in hospital.
About 20 minutes after the incident, a 65-year-old Farmington Hills man turned himself in to police and was arrested without resistance. Investigators seized a 9mm pistol believed to be the murder weapon, which had previously been reported stolen.
US authorities said the victim and perpetrator knew each other and there was an ongoing conflict between them, but the full circumstances have not yet been made public.
