A 36-year-old man, wanted by authorities in North Macedonia, has been arrested in Tirana for extradition purposes.
The young man has been sentenced by the judicial authorities of North Macedonia to 2 years in prison for counterfeiting coins.
This citizen was also wanted by the Durrës Police Department for the criminal offense of "Theft".
"Following successive operations to capture citizens declared internationally wanted, the structures of the Directorate of the Special Operational Force at the DPSSh finalized the operation codenamed "Operation 73", during which the following citizen was captured in Tirana and put in handcuffs:
NS, 36 years old, born in North Macedonia.
This citizen was declared an international wanted person after the Basic Court of Kumanovo sentenced him to 2 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Counterfeiting of Coins".
"Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with the authorities of North Macedonia, will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen," the Police announced.
