A quantity of explosives was thrown into the vehicle of a 39-year-old man in Selitë e Vogël. The incident occurred at around 03:20 this morning.
It is learned that the vehicle was parked in the yard of the apartment of the 39-year-old identified as Dritan Jano , while the police are continuing investigations to identify and capture the perpetrator(s).
Jano denied having had any conflicts or arguments with anyone, stating that he had no knowledge of the circumstances or reasons why explosives were placed in his car.
According to sources, he had been employed at the Metrology Institute for almost 10 years and was not previously registered with the police.
So far there is no concrete lead, but investigators suspect that the cause may have been a momentary conflict with someone.
"On 19.12.2025, at around 03:20, in Selitë e Vogël, it is suspected that a quantity of explosive material was thrown into the vehicle of citizen DJ, around 39 years old, which was parked in the yard of his apartment. As a result, there was only material damage.
"The investigation team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the case, as well as to identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s) , the police announced today.
