New details have emerged regarding the destruction of a criminal drug trafficking gang operating in Attica, where minors were among those arrested.
According to authorities, the network operated with a clear hierarchy, strict discipline, and systematic use of threats and violence, while drug sales were also carried out within schools.
The case was revealed following a Hellenic Police operation conducted on Thursday, December 18, during which 12 people were arrested, six of them minors. In parallel, the police have identified seven other people who are wanted.
Network hierarchy and organization
According to the investigative file, the leader of the group is suspected to be a 20-year-old foreigner nicknamed “Fratelo,” while his deputy was a 19-year-old Greek known as “Zoumbo.” Other members of the network operated under aliases such as “Kontos,” “Pipis,” and “Nitse.”
A park in the Patission area was chosen as the main meeting and coordination point, codenamed by members as "Kitsou", where instructions were given and tasks were assigned.

Selling through social networks and fixed prices
Communication between members was mainly carried out through Instagram and the Signal app. According to investigations, the drugs sold were mainly cannabis and cocaine, with prices ranging from around 10 euros per gram of cannabis and 50 euros per gram of cocaine.
The investigation began after a complaint and continued with phone intercepts, physical surveillance and data analysis, leading to the identification of at least 263 drug transactions.
Particularly worrying are the recorded dialogues between the network's leaders and underage members, which document threats, blackmail, and orders for immediate execution, even during school hours.
In some conversations, the leaders demand the handover of money under threat of violence, while in others, drug quantities and prices are negotiated, even with "special offers."
According to the investigation, the network enforced strict disciplinary rules. Punishments included fines, beatings, and acts of humiliation, which were sometimes recorded and posted on social media. In such materials, minors are shown being abused and threatened to serve as an “example” to others.
Authorities discovered that drugs were being distributed to schools in the areas of Nea Filadelfia, Nea Halkidona and Ano Patisias, as well as surrounding areas. In one case, two minors transported drugs during a school trip to Chania.
Also, in the intercepted conversations, members of the network discuss ways to launder money through betting companies, with the aim of presenting the illegal income as gambling profits.
A criminal case has been opened against the arrested for the creation and participation in a criminal organization for the purpose of drug trafficking and illegal financial gain. Five people who had parental responsibility for minors were also arrested, accused of negligence in supervision.
