A fight between several people occurred yesterday at the Institute, where the situation escalated to the use of firearms.
Regarding the incident, today the police have identified the seven people involved in this conflict, one of whom has been arrested, two people have been released and four others are wanted.
Police investigations show that brothers S.Rr. (22 years old) and E.Rr. (25 years old) hit citizens YC (30 years old) and OC with the butt of a pistol, and fired a gun at them, without harming them.
The brothers are suspected of being helped by their friends RD (18 years old), VH (27 years old), MM and MS, who hit citizen AC (38 years old) with hard objects and threatened citizen AH (48 years old), both cousins of YC and OC, with a firearm.
Police arrested YC in flagrante delicto for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, while two people, MM and MS, are being processed at large for minor injuries and threats. Four others, including brothers S.Rr. and E.Rr., are wanted.
The blue uniforms have made it possible to seize a firearm, a pistol type, combat ammunition, and three vehicles.
"The police operation codenamed "Fast Reaction" is being finalized, to clarify and document the circumstances of the incident that occurred yesterday at the Institute.
7 citizens involved in the conflict are identified. 1 is arrested in flagrante delicto, 2 are being processed at large and 4 are wanted.
A firearm, a pistol, combat ammunition and 3 vehicles were seized.
The services of Police Commissariat No. 3, yesterday, after receiving a notification that several citizens were in conflict at the Institute and during the conflict a gunshot was fired, immediately went to the scene, with the aim of identifying and arresting the citizens involved in the conflict and clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
As a result of the actions carried out within the framework of the “Fast reaction” operation, 7 citizens involved in the conflict were identified. Subsequently, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 3:
-arrested in flagrante delicto citizen YC, 30 years old, for the criminal offense “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”;
-referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office where the proceedings were initiated at large for citizens MM and MS, for the criminal offenses “Intentional minor injury” and “Threat”;
-declared citizens S. Rr., 22 years old and E. Rr., 25 years old (brothers) RD, 18 years old and VH, 27 years old, wanted.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that during a conflict for weak motives, citizens S. Rr. and E. Rr. hit citizens YC and OC (brothers) with the butt of their pistol and then fired their firearm in their direction, without harming them.
Brothers S. Rr. and E. Rr. are suspected of having been helped by their friends identified as RD, VH, MM and MS, who punched and hit citizen AC, 38 years old, with hard objects, and are also suspected of having threatened citizen AH, 48 years old, both cousins of brothers YC and OC, with a firearm.
"Work is underway to capture the 4 wanted citizens. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
