A knife fight occurred yesterday between two young men in Tropoja.
Blue uniforms announce that 18-year-old Orgen Lataj, the suspected perpetrator of the stabbing of 23-year-old Artur Buçpapaj in Tropoja, was arrested today.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Alfred Hasandocaj was also arrested for failing to report a crime. The injured man was also injured after narcotics, cannabis, were found in his vehicle.
"Tropojë/Investigations continue to document the authorship and circumstances of the injury of the 23-year-old, yesterday, in the village of Dojan. The 18-year-old, who is suspected of having stabbed the 23-year-old, during the conflict for weak motives, is arrested and put in handcuffs. A 21-year-old is also put in handcuffs, for failing to report a crime.
The 23-year-old (the injured party) is being held at large after a quantity of suspected cannabis was found in his vehicle during a search. The knife suspected of being used for the injury, the quantity of narcotics and the 2 vehicles of the citizens involved in the conflict were seized.
Following intensive investigative actions carried out under the direction of the Kukes Prosecution Office, to fully document the circumstances of the incident that occurred yesterday, in the village of Dojan, where citizen AB was injured with a cutting tool during a conflict for weak motives, the specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes at the Kukes DVP arrested the following citizens:
-OL, 18 years old, resident of Bajram Curri, for the criminal offense of "Intentional Murder", remaining in the attempt;
-AH, 21 years old, resident of the village of Dojan, for the criminal offense of "Failure to report a crime".
The investigation revealed that in the village of Dojan, citizen OL had a conflict with citizen AB for weak motives and had hit him with a knife. Following the actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against the injured citizen, AB, 23 years old, resident of Tropoja, after during a search of his vehicle, the Police found a small amount of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa.
"The 23-year-old continues to be under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of Kukes Jurisdiction, for further action," the police announced.
