Greek media have published photographs and criminal records of three people arrested after a gun attack in the Patisioni area, in central Athens, where one person was injured in the leg.
According to Newsbomb, these are two Albanian citizens and one Greek citizen, all known to Greek authorities for a range of criminal offenses, from robberies and drug trafficking to weapons possession and serious violence.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, when masked perpetrators entered the victim's business and shot him in the leg, before leaving in an SUV where their associate was waiting for them.

Greek police immediately launched a pursuit, while the released footage shows the moment when the perpetrators' vehicle loses control and crashes in the Kifisos area. During the escape, the perpetrators also threw away the gun, which was later found by the police inside a supermarket bag.
According to investigators, the manner of the attack indicates that the objective was to intimidate and not physically eliminate the victim, while the main lead is related to settling scores and drug trafficking.
The Greek citizen with the initials KP, who has numerous criminal records and is the former partner of the famous presenter Julia Nova, has been the center of attention of the Greek media.
According to his file, in 2022 he stabbed a person in a food kiosk 20 times after a trivial conflict because he could not stand the wait. Just a year earlier, in April 2025, he had been arrested after a 6-year prison sentence was served against him.
However, just 13 months later, he turns out to be involved in another serious criminal event in the heart of Athens.
Greek media reports that his record also includes cases of drug trafficking, robbery and dangerous driving. According to authorities, his criminal activity began at the age of 19.
The two arrested Albanians are also known names to the Greek police since at least 2015. They have prior records of robbery and theft, while one of them was previously arrested transporting a small arsenal of weapons, including two Kalashnikovs and 90 rounds of ammunition.
Even this was not enough to keep him behind bars.
The event has reignited the debate in Greece about repeat crime and the fact that people with serious criminal records continue to move freely and engage in armed incidents in central Athens./ Pamphlet
