
The next hearing within the "Golden Bullet" is being held at the Special Court.
Matilda Habilaj, the daughter of Fatmira Deda and sister of Elvis Deda, who was executed in 2012, is testifying at the hearing.
"We were born in Kavaja, but then we lived in Durrës. The deceased is my brother Ervis Dede. I had no idea what my brother was doing," she said.
Matilda explained that since 1997 she has not had any communication with her brother, but that there was information that he had gone to Belgium and the Netherlands, only to return to Albania in 2008.
She also recounted details from the day she learned of her brother's death.
"For the death of my brother, I was in a course, I teach German. At 10 pm they called me, they told me about Loshen. I later went to Germany for 1 month. I only had one phone call with my mother after the event. I was not part of the ceremony, because I didn't know the people. I gave myself time. When I was thinking about coming to my mother, what happened in 2012 happened. In 1997 I severed all relations. I took the path of school, he the other one," she said.
