A serious fatal accident occurred in neighborhood no. 4 in Durres.
It is learned that a 26-year-old resident of the village of Rrashbull hit an 80-year-old man with a car, who died immediately as a result of his injuries.
According to sources, it is suspected that the victim cut off the driver's path. Meanwhile, the young man has been arrested by the police.
"Road Traffic Specialists arrested citizen OP, 26 years old, resident of the village of Rrashbull, in flagrante delicto, after in neighborhood no. 4, Durrës, while driving, he hit citizen QL, 80 years old, resident of Durrës, a pedestrian, who consequently lost his life ," the police statement said.
