The testimony of the Italian, the owner of the apartment who clashed with 3 Albanians with firearms, is revealed.
A 25-year-old Albanian man died while another was injured during a failed robbery attempt at a villa in Foria di Centola, Italy.
Three young men of Albanian origin are suspected of attempting to rob the apartment, while its owner, a 60-year-old man, shot them several times with a firearm after catching them in the act.
The 25-year-old did not survive his injuries, while another was injured and is in hospital. The third Albanian involved is on the run, having managed to flee the scene.
The body of the 25-year-old was found today in the village of San Severino, a mountain village in the municipality of Centola, following the desire of the 60-year-old who surrendered himself to the Public Prosecutor's Office in Vallo della Lucania to confess to the crime.
Shocked, in tears and accompanied by his lawyer, the 60-year-old Italian said that after shooting the 25-year-old to death, he dragged the body into the forest area of San Severino, partially hidden by vegetation. For two days he did not talk about the incident, until he decided to cooperate with investigators and discover the truth.
The young man's body was found 48 hours later by police through a helicopter and dog search, where they identified the victim. His body will undergo an autopsy, which will shed light on the exact dynamics of death.
