The Special Prosecution Office has closed the investigations and sent one of the factions of the "Golden Bullet" case to the Criminal Court for trial a month ago, based on the testimonies of the repentant justice official, Nuredin Dumani.
The case has 11 defendants, many of them leaders of criminal organizations and well-known names in the underworld such as Suel Çela (Marjus Lulaj), Florenc Çapja, Talo Çela, Festim Qoli, Kamber (Agron) Mehja, Eljo (Ervis) Bitri and the gambling kingpin who has been missing for three years without a trace, Ervis Martinaj.
The others named as defendants in the case are: Abedin Mama (Dine Çami), Aleks Çela (Tom Qorri), Alket Xhixha and Elvin Merlika. Qoli is wanted, as are Suel Çela, Talo Çela and Ervis Martinaj, whose fate is still unknown.
The investigations were conducted by prosecutors Doloreza Musabelli and Behar Dibra, while the GJKKO is requested to proceed with the file and is currently in a preliminary hearing.
The defendants are accused of many serious criminal acts, ranging from financing, organization, ordering, execution and collaboration. Two of the criminal acts are serious, murder, with at least 4 victims, the others are attempted murder, assaults, and bombings.
One of the faction's issues is the murder of mother and son, Fatmira Dedaj and Elvis Dedaj, events that occurred over a decade ago and for which Festim Qoli is accused of ordering. Initially, according to SPAK, Qoli committed the murder of his partner Elvis Dedaj and then ordered the elimination of the mother, which, according to Duman's testimony, was carried out by Talo Çela.
SPAK has charged Festim Qoli with at least 2 murders, “premeditated murder” and “participation in a structured criminal group”. Qoli and Dedaj had a joint business, but when Dedaj wanted to split the business, Qoli financed and ordered his murder. Talo Çela and Nuredin Dumani were the group contracted to carry out the murder.
Another name involved in ordered executions is Eljo (Ervis) Bitri, who has been mentioned in recent accounts by Dumani and Erion Alibej.
He is accused of an explosives attack on January 29, 2020 against Mustafa Subashi in Durrës and participation in the double murder on March 2 in Shkozet, against Anxhelo Avdia and Dorjan Shkoza.
Another deadly assassination attempt by this faction is that against Emiljano Ramazan on July 20, 2020 in Elbasan, which was testified to by the repentant Alibej-Dumani, on the orders of the former.
Also in this dossier is also revealed the event of 2012, the assassination attempt on Festim Qoli by Talo Çela. The latter is accused and investigated for several serious assassinations and crimes, committed within the framework of the structured criminal group, in the connections he had with the brothers Hajdar and Franc Çopja, but also with Suel Çela and other leaders of criminal groups. Talo Çela is suspected of committing the crimes ordered and paid by the leaders of criminal organizations, as well as Nuredin Dumani on the other side.
SPAK is still processing other serious criminal cases, as implicated names may be discovered and added to the file. Investigations show that the murder of Fatmira Dedja occurred on the orders of Festim Qoli, as she sought justice for the murder of her son, Elvis, and had managed to uncover evidence, endangering the group of perpetrators. To cover up the tracks, Qoli is accused of having ordered Talo Çela and Nuredin Dumani, paying them.
