The Lezha Prosecution Office has completed the investigations and sent for trial criminal case no. 332 of 2024, regarding the cultivation of narcotic plants in the Kashnjet area, where 3 people have been charged.
They are Armando Ndreca, brother of Socialist MP Eduart Ndreca, Armel Nikdukaj and Elvis Shpellzaj, against whom charges have been filed for "production and sale of narcotics", "cultivation of narcotic plants" and "theft of electricity or telephone pulses".
The preliminary court hearing will be held in the coming days by Judge Lirim Bulica, who will decide on the Prosecution's request.
According to the prosecution's investigative file, the 3 people, in collaboration with each other, had adapted a booth for drug cultivation, where 2,973 narcotic plants (some of them seedlings ready to be cultivated in the ground), a quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa, 50 lamps, ventilation equipment, other items that served this criminal activity and 3 cell phones were seized from this environment.
The crackdown on this case of narcotics cultivation came after information was obtained through operational channels by the police, under the direction of the Lezha Prosecutor's Office, which also carried out the operation.
