The bad weather that has engulfed the country for several days has created a series of problems throughout the country.
In response to this situation, the State Police has appealed to all road users to respect the rules. Immediate measures have also been taken to ban rafting activities in extreme conditions.
The State Police, throughout the country, has increased its presence, with the aim of coming to the aid of residents in need, in areas affected by floods, road users, and to prevent road accidents.
The State Police has been ordered to seize the boats used by young people to go rafting.
Also, the State Police appeals to all road users to show increased caution, to rigorously respect road traffic rules and to implement the instructions of the Traffic Police services, as, as a result of bad weather with rainfall, there is the presence of water or even falling debris on some road axes.
Police structures are on the ground to assist and prevent road incidents and are collaborating with road maintenance contracting firms, with the aim of timely cleaning of segments where, as a result of rainfall, there has been inert material falling on the road.
