A video of how Skerdi Sina, arrested the day before in Tirana, managed to escape from the Shqiponja forces on June 1st was published in the media today. In the video below, Sina is seen escaping from the Shqiponja forces in the parking lot of a building during the pursuit.
As seen in the footage, Sina stopped in an Audi car in a parking lot after being chased by the police and waited for them to get off their motorbikes. But as the officers surrounded the car, Sina immediately sped off, driving away.
Two days ago, Skerdi Sina, while being pursued by the Police, attempted to escape in an Audi Q8 car together with Joni Sadikaj. When he was spotted on Myslym Shyri Street, the Shqiponja forces followed him. During the attempt to escape, Sadikaj, who was also the driver, crashed into four other vehicles, taking them over. Before being arrested, Sina threw a pistol firearm on the ground, which was seized and will be sent for further examination. The 29-year-old is reported to also have connections with Aleksandër Sadikaj.
Who is Skerdi Sina?
Skredi Sina is not an unknown name to the authorities. In January, he was declared wanted, after allegedly holding a 21-year-old woman hostage in a rented apartment in Astir.
Five people are suspected of keeping 21-year-old Sajma Qordja locked in the apartment, being declared wanted at the time, and they are Skerdi Sina, Ogert Aliaj, Arnold Jahon, Anduel Aliaj and Joni Sadikaj. The 21-year-old is said to have been Sadikaj's girlfriend.
The incident occurred on January 9 in the capital, when a girl called the Tirana Police Operations Room, saying she had been raped by several people, and alerted the police. The police cordoned off the "Astir" area in Tirana for over an hour, as they suspected that we were facing a kidnapping case.
RENEA officers even had to descend with a rope from the upper floors to enter the apartment and rescue the young girl. Weapons and drugs were also found inside the premises./ Dosja.al
