"Metamorphosis"/ SPAK gives the claim for the 6 accused, requests 13

The Special Prosecution Office has filed a claim for several of the defendants in the "Metamorphosis" case, including former Crime Chief Dedan Gjoni. For Dedan Gjoni, SPAK has requested a sentence of 13 years in prison and if convicted, he will benefit from a shortened trial and his sentence will be reduced to 8.4 years behind bars.

For Ismail Zeneli, 15 years in prison/summary trial of 10 years in prison has been requested, Dedan Gjoni 13 years in prison/summary trial of 8 years and 4 months in prison, Bujar Gërmizi 10 years in prison/summary trial of 6 years and 8 months in prison, Adrian Cenaj 7 years in prison/summary trial of 4 years and 8 months in prison, Besmir Murtati 12 years in prison/summary trial of 8 years in prison and Albert Prenga 12 years in prison/summary trial of 8 years in prison.

SPAK's accusations against the defendants: 

1. Ismail Zeneli, accused of having committed the criminal offenses of "Drug Trafficking", committed in the special form of cooperation of the "Structured Criminal Group", "Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group", provided for by articles 283/a/1, 28/4, 333/a/1 and 334 (twice) and "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", offenses provided for by articles 80, 28/4, 333/a/1 and 334/2 of the Criminal Code.

2. Bujar Ajeti, accused of having committed the criminal offenses of “Providing conditions and material means to commit murder”, committed in the special form of cooperation of the “Structured criminal group” and “Participation in a structured criminal group”, “Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group”, offenses provided for in Articles 80, 28/4, 333/a/1 and 334 of the Criminal Code, “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”, provided for in Article 278/1 of the Criminal Code, “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”, provided for in Article 278/3 of the Criminal Code, “Illegal production and possession of hunting weapons and sporting weapons”, provided for in Article 280 of the Criminal Code and “Supporting the perpetrator of the crime”, provided for in Article 302/2 of the Code Criminal.

3. Adrian Cenaj (Dedja), accused of having committed the criminal offenses of "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", committed in the special form of cooperation of the "Structured criminal group" and "Participation in a structured criminal group", "Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group", offenses provided for by articles 80, 28/4, 333/a/2 and 334/1 of the Criminal Code as well as "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime", provided for by article 302/2 of the Criminal Code.

4. Dedan Gjoni, with the position of Head of Crimes at the time of the commission of the criminal offense, accused of having committed the criminal offenses of "Drug Trafficking", committed in the special form of cooperation with the "Structured Criminal Group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or a structured criminal group", offenses provided for in Articles 283/a/1, 28/4, 333/a/2 and 334 of the Criminal Code, "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", committed in the special form of cooperation with the "Structured Criminal Group" and "Participation in a Structured Criminal Group", provided for in Articles 80, 28/4, 333/a/2 and 334/1 of the Criminal Code, as well as "Abuse of office", provided for in Article 248 of the Criminal Code.

5. Besmir Murtati, accused of having committed the criminal offenses of "Drug Trafficking", committed in the special form of cooperation of the "Structured Criminal Group", and "Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group", offenses provided for by articles 283/a/1, 28/4, 333/a/2 and 334/1 of the Criminal Code.

6. Albert Prenga, accused of having committed the criminal offenses of "Drug Trafficking", committed in the special form of cooperation of the "Structured Criminal Group" and "Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group", offenses provided for by articles 283/a/1, 28/4, 333/a/1 and 334/1 of the Criminal Code.
