The Operational Forces arrested a 40-year-old man in Dibër, who was internationally wanted by Italian authorities on suspicion of drug trafficking. The man in question is citizen Emrulla Tomja alias Emrulla Elezi.
During the operation "Operacionalja 50", as a result of the coordination of work, through the ENFAST network, with the Italian Police, the Directorate of the Special Operational Force arrested in Dibër, the internationally wanted citizen, ET alias EE, 40 years old, according to an official announcement by the State Police.
The court in L'Aquila has assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", for which the Italian Criminal Code provides for a sentence of over 4 years in prison.
Cooperation continues to finalize the extradition of the 40-year-old to Italy.
