Singer Aurela Gaçe has reacted to calls on social media to boycott her concert in Shkodra, describing the attacks against her as unacceptable.
Through a post on social media, Gaçe stated that she is a "daughter of the people" and that she has never been part of the state administration or electoral campaigns.
"I am a daughter of the people. I stand by them with my actions. So be careful when taking a photo of someone who has never worked in the state, does not receive a salary anywhere where people's taxes are violated, and has never agreed to be part of electoral campaigns," she writes.
The artist emphasized that her protest is evident in the positions she has held over the years, while clarifying that she has never benefited from public funds or tenders.
"I am a public person, but a private one. I am not part of the state's salaried employees, I have never received a tender and I have not participated in campaigns, despite the large payments," said Gaçe.
At the end of the reaction, the singer criticized the use of her image in calls for a boycott, describing this action as a form of violence.
"Taking someone's photo and using it as a target for your own purposes, which I suspect are pure, is unacceptable. What you are doing is violence," her reaction concludes.
