New York has become the center of global attention as friends and family of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have begun arriving in the city, amid speculation about the couple's much-hyped wedding.
According to PEOPLE reports, dozens of famous figures have been spotted in New York in recent days, adding to rumors that the ceremony and festivities could take place this weekend.
On Travis Kelce's side, famous NFL athletes such as Brock Bowers, Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly Stafford, Beau Allen, Creed Humphrey with his fiancée Ana Demmer, George Kittle with his wife Claire Kittle, and Greg Olsen have been seen in the city.
Also in New York are his close friends, including Reggie King, Ross Travis, André Eanes, Aric Jones, Joe Oravec and his former college friend, Derek Wolfe. Kelce's family included his mother Donna Kelce, uncle Don Blalock and his cousins.
Taylor Swift's guest list is equally packed with big names, including Camila Cabello, Anya Taylor-Joy, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Ashley Avignone, Abigail Anderson and Selena Gomez. Sportswriters Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews are also expected to attend the festivities.
Reports indicate that the celebrations have been going on since the beginning of the week. On June 30, Ed Sheeran and Aaron Dessner were spotted near Long Pond Studios in New York, while Sabrina Carpenter was photographed having dinner with friends in the West Village.
According to The New York Times, the couple is planning a party with around 1,000 guests, while the ceremony is expected to have a "black tie" dress code and a strict rule prohibiting cell phones during the event.
Although the couple has not officially confirmed the details, the atmosphere in New York indicates that one of the biggest events in showbiz and sports may be very close to happening.
