A mafia attack occurred on Tuesday afternoon near the Rinas roundabout, where the victim was 47-year-old Gilmando Dani, while 40-year-old Mustafa Sheqeri was seriously injured.
Journalist Elton Qyno for Syri TV announced that the police have a suspect in connection with the mafia execution.
According to him, the person is believed to have collaborated with the assassins to provide information that would be followed by execution with Kalashnikovs at the Rinas roundabout. Dani and Sheqeri had just returned from Spain, while the assassins were waiting for them in a blue Toyota vehicle.
"We are dealing with a typical mafia murder, which is well organized by rival criminal groups and which undoubtedly brought the next massacre right to the streets of Albanian cities today.
The situation has been closely monitored by the perpetrators of the crime. The Tirana Police has a suspect who is believed to have collaborated with the fire brigade to provide information. This person who provided the information has been shown in the footage and makes several movements, back and forth, in the segment of the road that connects the tunnel, i.e. the main parking door with the part of the roundabout that completely exits the terminal area. And who is talking on the phone and who is currently the first person suspected by the Tirana Police.
"And this person has currently been escorted, identified and is suspected of being the person who provided the information, but up to this moment we have not even received an official notification from the police," said Qyno.
Qyno says the victims did not have weapons, while 3 people got out of the perpetrators' car.
"It is suspected that initially he was shot from a car, parallel, and then three people got out and started shooting with even greater intensity."
And one of them approached the car and fired, while neither of the injured people, whether Gilmando Dani, or Mustafa Sheqeri, or Muçi Sheqeri, reacted at any moment.
"From the internal search of the car, but also from their physical search, not even a weapon was found," said Qyno.
Another detail that the journalist reveals is the fact that the perpetrators were wearing bulletproof vests and were prepared to execute Gilmando Dani at any cost.
"Some of them have some kind of green clothing as seen in the footage and the police suspect that this green clothing is believed to be bulletproof vests, so they have taken measures so that even if there were a reaction with weapons from the target, they would be sure to respond with even higher intensities and would also be self-defensive against bullets that would come the other way."
"Even more so since they had set out to kill and finish this job due to the fact that four people with four Kalashnikov assault rifles in their car had made all the plans to be ready to start a war just to kill Gilmando Dani," he said.
