
Two people have been arrested by the Police in the capital, after being caught with over 1.2 kilograms of cocaine that was suspected of being distributed in doses in different areas of Tirana.
Braild Aga and Ronaldo Spahiu, both 27 years old, were arrested.
The operation codenamed “Suppliers”, conducted by the Narcotics Investigation Section after a three-month investigation in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecution Office, led to the arrest of two 27-year-olds, who were detained in the “Ura e Beshirit – Pezë” area. During the search of their vehicle and apartments, the police seized the narcotics, a vehicle and two mobile phones.
"The police, anti-drug operation, codenamed "Suppliers", is being finalized."
The operation, in the wake of Tirana Police actions, against the sale of narcotics in doses/quantities.
They were providing the narcotic substance Cocaine, which was given to other citizens, to divide and sell in doses in New Tirana, Kombinat and Selitë, 2 citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto.
During the checks, a total of 1 kg and 234 grams of the narcotic substance Cocaine were found.
As a result of a three-month investigation, pursued with proactive methods, in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, following police operations against criminal activities in the field of narcotics, the Narcotics Investigation Section finalized the "Suppliers" operation.
As part of it, citizens BA, 27 years old, and RS, 27 years old, both residents of Tirana, were caught red-handed while driving on the "Ura e Beshirit - Pezë" road axis and were placed in handcuffs.
During physical checks, in the vehicle and in the apartments, a total of 1 kg and 234 grams of the narcotic substance Cocaine were found, which was suspected to be given to other citizens, with the aim of distributing in doses in the areas of "Tirana e Re", "Kombinat" and Selita.
Investigations are ongoing to identify and bring to justice all citizens involved in this criminal activity.
The narcotics were seized along with the vehicle and the two cell phones of the arrested persons.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police announced.
