Leonard Mnella, extradited to Albania last year after being located in the US, was extradited to Italy today.
It is learned that the Albanian with 3 identities, who managed to fake his own death in 2003, was extradited today to the Italian state to face justice there.
In Italy, Leonard Mnella alias Leon Kolmnela alias Leonard Kolmnela, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for collaboration in a criminal organization, kidnapping, attempted extortion, violation of the law on weapons and drug trafficking in large quantities.
Mnella has been on the run for years. In 2013, he managed to have a court decision issued by an Albanian court declaring him dead in 2003 in Latin America.
His first arrest was made possible in Michigan, USA, in 2024 through a collaboration between the Albanian criminal police department in collaboration with 2 American agencies.
