The first and most important success is the awakening of conscience and the refusal of submission. Despite the walls of the system, the moral capital created on the streets is now irreversible and represents the only future of the country.
Don't look for the truth of the protest in the government media or the 'opposition' channels. Life there has frozen. All that remains is a theater of shadows, built to feed the illusion of a minority that thinks it can rule indefinitely.
This is the Albania of the facade, fattened on the back of public money. It is the republic of the arrogant, who sell theft as success. There, poison and division are sown daily, the war between two false trenches is deliberately nurtured, as the only vital leaven that keeps a political class of arrogant losers afloat.
The Albania that breathes, the Albania that beats in the hearts of the people, is today in the squares and on the streets. Outside the range of purchased or lined-up cameras, it is reconnecting the broken threads with the fate of a country that until yesterday seemed to be sailing without a compass.
This new Albania is today the sharpest answer to the question that weighed on everyone: 'Is there any hope for this country?' This hope did not come with reforms dictated by foreign offices, nor from the cynical comedy of the thief who cries out 'catch the thief'.
It was reborn with these young people who refused to capitulate in the face of the concrete system of the fait accompli.
This system does not fall easily, that is known. It is protected by a dense network of interests of those who are reviled by day and are partners by night. These people today have the money, the power, and an army of mercenaries, whose mission is to break and divide the spirit of resistance.
But either way, a great and tangible triumph has been achieved. The scenario of apathy failed. The slanderous curtain of propaganda that attempts to hide moral decay, under the false splendor of luxury, was torn. We learned that the spirit has not died out. That beautiful Albania exists.
Many things can be bought, but never the dignity of a people.
The victory is that people with pure souls refused to remain mere spectators. This act of courage proved to the country and the world that the spirit of Albanian resistance is still alive.
This is great moral capital.
No false ruler who remembers that money and power have forever elevated him above the people can undo it. / Dita
