Two mafiosi, a corpse and Aleksandar Vučić's brother in Serbia!

The newspaper “Danas” writes that Nešović may have been doused with gasoline and burned near the highway west of Belgrade. A Serbian analyst told N1 television: “This doesn’t even happen in Colombia.” Another mobster said that the restaurant where the murder took place is owned by Andrej Vučić, the brother of President Vučić. The latter said that this is not true.

Two mafiosi meet in a restaurant in Belgrade, the host is the police director, then shots are heard and many Serbs ask: where is the body?

This would be a good title for describing a mafia movie. But the truth is that what is foreshadowed in the title really happened, in Belgrade. Let's go in order.

Senjak is a neighborhood in the center of Belgrade. It is home to embassies, diplomatic residences, and luxury villas. Senjak is considered one of the wealthiest parts of Belgrade. It is home to the rich, the beautiful, but also the ugly (influential) and sometimes even the mafia.

In Senjak, on Istarska Street 27, there is “Restoran 27”, whose owners praise their establishment as follows: “'Restoran 27' is an impeccable restaurant that loves its guests; we are here when you need everything to be perfect”. With 16 out of 20 points in the “Gault & Millau” gastronomic guide, this establishment is ranked among the best in the Serbian capital.

Last Tuesday, two rival mafia bosses met in this bar. They came at the invitation of the Belgrade police chief, Veselin Milić. Milić's goal was to reconcile the mafia bosses. And where better place than "Restoran 27", good food, good atmosphere, good music, the name of the street - Istarska 27 - evokes nostalgia for the sea, although the Istrian peninsula is far away, in Croatia, on the border with Italy.

The intended reconciliation was not achieved. Shortly after the meeting, mafia bosses Aleksandar Neshovic and Sasha Vukotic began to argue harshly.

During the scuffle, Vukotic and another assassin allegedly fired two bullets at Nesovic. All this in the presence of Belgrade police chief Veselin Milic.

Now the story becomes even more interesting. Veselin Milić was an advisor to President Aleksandar Vučić.

Five years ago, Milić was decorated by Vučić. Those who receive decorations are supposed to receive them for merit and successes achieved in their work.

Was Miliqi honored for his services to the mafia?

It is not known. But Vučić said: “This will no longer be possible.” Which is to say: it was possible for police officers to work for the mafia. The most interesting headline was published by the always pro-government newspaper “Politika”: Drug dealers will no longer be allowed to carry secret service identification cards. Does this mean that such a thing has been possible until now? Probably yes.

Let's go back to "Restaurant 27". After the murder of mafioso Aleksandar Nešović, Belgrade police chief Veselin Milić did not alert police patrols to help catch the killers, but, according to Serbian media, together with two bodyguards he participated in the disappearance of the corpse. Vučić has confirmed this. However, his regime says that the police reacted professionally.

So far, 10 people have been arrested, including Belgrade police chief Veselin Milic. Many Serbs are asking: where is Aleksandar Nesovic's body? The police have launched a search. The vehicle in which the body was transported has been found: with traces of blood and dozens of surgical gloves.
