These are some of the main documents that Albanian and Italian citizens must present to benefit from mutual recognition of pensions.
"Albanian citizens living and working in Italy and Italians living and working in Albania can apply to the Social Security Institute or Istituto Nazionale della Previdenza Sociale (INPS) to request recognition of pensions. In the case of Albania, the application is made directly on the government portal E-Albania," Olta Mnjani, deputy minister of MEKI, tells A2 CNN.
While this is the form called "Application form for foreign pension" which is downloaded from the official website of the Social Security Institute. The documents attached to the request for benefit do not need to be translated, notarized or signed by consular offices. They will be taken as granted by the receiving office and then verified by the liaison office of the other party.
