On November 17, 2019, the miners of Bulqiza announced the creation of their union because the Confederation of Trade Unions does not protect their interests, because President Kol Nikollaj has sold out to the (former) concessionaires, from whom he has received millions of lek to not protect them and to quell the protests.
The truth, according to the denunciations frequently made to the police and prosecutors by union members, is this: for 25 years, Kola Nikollaj of the unions has been pressuring employers and bargaining with those who accept, to get millions of lek that he puts in his pocket.
The villain Kol Nikollaj has made a financial bargain against the interests of the workers with the leaders of "Bankers", a fact proven by the oil workers' protest in October 2025, but also with the directors of "Albpetrol" and owners of 20 oil and gas companies in Fier, Patos, Ballsh, Vlora and Delvina.

But after the company's leaders rejected Colonel Nikollaj's bargain, he began to exert pressure by fabricating a protest, even speaking in the name of God, with the aim of hindering and damaging the company's economic activity.
The director of the Turkish company "Tete Albania", Cem Koray Vagci, declared publicly and before Albanian institutions that he is not against the miners' protest, but according to the law, a partnership union representation is needed for dialogue, which the Confederation of Col. Nikola and he himself do not have.
The company is not against unions, we just want to be in compliance with the law, procedures, and representation.
While the miners and employees of this company have already learned the truth, they were used by Colonel Nikollaj for his dirty purposes, after the Turkish leaders rejected bargains against the interests of the workers.
The hypocrisy of Kola and his son-in-law in front of millions
Col. Nikollaj of the union, which the workers themselves call "Unionists", receives the checks and says nothing about 110 chrome companies in Bulqiza, Burrel, Tropoja, Has and Kukës, which operate outside of any technical safety conditions and exploit the miners as slaves.
Because Col. Nikollaj is rewarded by the owners, a fact denounced by the miners, who say that, every month, he receives illegal wages from everyone, which is why he remains silent even when miners are injured and killed.
The three luxury villas in Himara, Lalëz and Kavajë, the 220 m2 suite in Tirana, the luxurious life, the pleasures and the numerous trips that Colonel Nikollaj made inside and outside Albania accompanied by his "unionist", have the source of the millions he extorts from union properties and businesses, to guarantee that protests will not start or end.
While in public services such as education, health, Albanian Post, KESH, OSHEE, Abpetrol and water supply, Colonel Nikollaj manipulates, abandons and suppresses protests, in exchange for paid employment, real estate transactions and obtaining construction permits and licenses, such as the case of obtaining the concession for his two HPPs in Mirdita./ Pamphlet
