Speaking at the White House today, US President Donald Trump said he will probably meet with Vladimir Putin within the next two weeks.
Trump added that the Foreign Ministers of both parties, Marco Rubio and Sergei Lavrov, will make the necessary arrangements to meet very soon.
He also says he will inform Volodymyr Zelensky about his call with Putin at their meeting tomorrow.
" We have a problem, they don't get along very well. It's a terrible relationship they have ," Trump said, arguing that this case requires separate meetings.
Trump admits he initially believed Russia's war would be easier to deal with because of his relationship with President Putin.
He also seems more reserved about the possibility of supplying Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles.
"We need Tomahawks for the United States of America too, we have a lot of them, but we need them. We can't exhaust them for our country... I don't know what we can do about it ," he says.
