Not just politics. For some Democratic Party deputies, 2025 has also been a year of vehicle transactions. Asset declarations filed with the HIDAKKI show that some of them have purchased new cars, while others have sold the vehicles they owned, creating the impression that the car "business" has been an activity parallel to the parliamentary mandate.
The record for the most expensive purchase is held by Belind Këlliçi. According to his asset declaration, he purchased a vehicle worth 29 thousand euros on October 29, 2025, a transaction formalized by contract.
MP Saimir Korreshi is also on the list of significant purchases. He declares the purchase of a vehicle worth 2.5 million lek, with a contract dated June 30, 2025.
Tritan Shehu also had vehicle movements during the year. According to the declaration, he is a co-owner in the purchase of a vehicle worth 5,800 euros at the beginning of the year and another worth 5,320 euros in November. At the same time, the declaration also records the reduction of a vehicle worth 10 thousand euros, which shows that he also lost ownership of a car during the year.
Gent Strazimiri also had transactions. He declares the purchase of a vehicle worth 500 thousand lek, while in the same year he also reports the sale of another vehicle.
Meanwhile, MP Bledjon Nallbati also appears to have sold a vehicle during 2025, according to the declaration filed with the HIDAKKI.
The asset declarations do not provide details on the makes or models of vehicles, but show that for a number of Democratic Party MPs, the year 2025 was not only characterized by political activity, but also by a considerable number of vehicle transactions, with the most expensive purchases of Belind Këlliçi and Saimir Korreshi standing out. / Pamphlet
