Political parties in North Macedonia have four more days to present their candidates for mayor for the second round of local elections on Sunday, November 2.
As the day of election silence approaches, the rhetoric is becoming harsher.
AKi's candidate for the municipality of Tetovo, Bajram Rexhepi, has raised serious accusations regarding the constructions in the "Monopoli" area in Tetovo, calling them "actions that offend the memory and sacrifice of citizens."
There have been accusations against the latter that he has served as the object of corrupt affairs.
Rexhepi publicly invited Bilall Kasami to confront him in an open debate.
On the other hand, Bilall Kasami, WLEN's candidate for Tetovo, invites citizens to vote for him to seal what they have called a great victory, towards a second term.
According to official data from the State Election Commission, 44 municipalities have already elected their mayors, while a second round will be held in 33 others.
Of the strongest political battles among Albanians, WLEN secured victory in Chair in the first round, while Gostivar is another municipality that is going to the second round.
