Details emerge from the massacre in Crete, where there were deaths and several injuries.
According to Greek media, the incident occurred after a conflict between the Kargaki and Fragkiadaki families, centered on pastures in Crete.
Authorities are currently investigating information regarding at least three perpetrators, one of whom is dead and the other two are injured and being treated. The cause of the fight is suspected to be an apartment.
At the same time, a major police operation is underway in the area, where all available forces on the island have been transferred.
Following the bloody incident, the head of the Hellenic Police, Dimitris Mallios, traveled to Crete, along with the head of the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime ("Greek FBI"), Fotis Ntuitsis.
In addition, EKAM teams from Attica will also arrive tomorrow and will remain permanently in the village.
At the same time, the situation at Venizelio Hospital remains particularly tense, as dozens of relatives and villagers have gathered outside the building, awaiting news of the injured and dead.
Previously, the body of one of the dead from the bloody conflict had been transferred to the hospital.
To avoid incidents, Greek police teams have been deployed in Venizelio, while the area has been cordoned off.
