According to preliminary data, the conflict has been going on for a year, while today's clash is believed to be revenge for an explosion that occurred late last night in a building under construction in the same village.
It all started on Friday evening, when chaos erupted in the village due to the deafening noise of an explosion, which occurred in a house under construction. The next morning, a group of people from a large peasant family grabbed guns and started shooting in retaliation.
Heavy police forces are operating in the village to prevent further escalation and control the situation. It is noted that the massacre is reminiscent of the deadly revenge of 1955, where within just a few hours, six residents of the village of Riziti lost their lives, while 14 others were injured.
