A girl, who was 17 years old at the time of Bastoni's rape, has denied to investigators any allegations of prostitution in relation to the Inter and Italian national team footballer, who is currently under investigation by the Milan Prosecutor's Office on suspicion of prostitution with minors.
" I am not a prostitute, I did not prostitute myself with Bastoni and I did not take any money ."
This is, according to Italian media, the gist of the statement given by the young woman to investigators. It is suspected that she spent the night between July 9 and 10, 2020 with the Italian defender.
According to the investigation, the alleged meeting between Bastoni and the 17-year-old took place during one of the evenings organized by the "Ma.De" agency in Cinisello Balsamo. This agency is at the center of an investigation for involvement in a criminal group, where Alesio Salamone, Deborah Ronçi and Emanuele Butini are under investigation.
Alessandro Bastoni has been summoned to appear on Friday to be questioned by prosecutors Rosaria Stagnaro and Bruna Albertini, who are leading the investigation in collaboration with the Economic and Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza.
However, according to reports, the Inter footballer, in consultation with his lawyer Salvatore Scuto, may choose to exercise his legal right not to answer questions from prosecutors.
The investigations continue and until they are concluded, the charges remain in the verification phase by the Italian authorities.
